Our Story

A place that has
held its quiet for
generations

Glendale Club Summer Home began in 1949 as a modest gathering of families who wanted a place to return to — not just a place to stay, but a place to belong. What started as a handful of summer rooms along the Minnesota shoreline has grown, gently, into a full community that still values the same things it did decades ago: honest hospitality, the rhythm of the lake, and the kind of friendship that only comes from shared summers.

Today, our members and their guests enjoy seasonal lodging, communal meals, and the simple pleasures that define a Minnesota summer — canoeing at dawn, fireflies over the water, and evenings spent on the porch with people who feel like family. We are not a resort. We are something quieter and perhaps more rare: a home that opens its door every season.

Getting Here

Located just west of St. Cloud along Minnesota Highway 23, Glendale Club is roughly an hour northwest of the Twin Cities. We are surrounded by farmland and pine forests, and the lake is only a short walk from our front door.

Season

We welcome guests from late spring through early fall. Peak season runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day, but early-season and late-season visits are wonderful too — the lake is beautiful in every month.
